Meet our new Musical Director: Arjun Toora

Arjun Toora is a Year 12 student at Adams Grammar School in Newport. He plays the piano, in which he achieved Grade 8 with distinction last year. He also plays cello in the Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra, is principal cellist in the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra and part of the trumpet section in the Youth Wind Orchestra.

Arjun has experience of singing in school choirs and musicals and played Kenickie in a school production of Grease. He also has a strong interest in composition. He says music is one of his biggest passions and he is looking forward to gaining experience in leadership and taking on greater responsibility in creating music, in addition to playing it.

We are delighted to be able to offer Arjun the opportunity to do just that, and are very excited to be working with him as our new conductor.
