Taverner & Tavener

Our next concert is at 7.30 pm this Saturday (7th July) at St. Michael's Church, Coalway Road, Penn. There is no charge for tickets, but there will be an opportunity to make donations.
If this is anywhere near as good as our Jubilee concert, it will be a magical evening. Come and join us!

    The City of Wolverhampton Choir will be singing these pieces by John Tavener:
    Hymn for the Dormition of the Mother of God
    A Hymn to the Mother of God
    Song for Athene
    Funeral Ikos
    Magnificat
    plus Arvo Pärt's The Beatitudes

    The Early Music Group is also performing - I cope to be able to post a list of their pieces this evening.
