MESSIAH with Orchestra de Camera

On December 17th, the City of Wolverhampton Choir will attempt, once again, to deliver a magical rendition of Handel's Messiah.

This time last year the snow came and ended any hope of a performance with the town centre closing rapdly and public transport stopped.

As eagerly awaited as last year, we hope you will join us in what's set to be a wonderful evening of music and joy as we lead up to Christmas. This year we are delighted to be joined by the renouned Orchestra de Camera who will help to ensure that everyone will be in just the right mood for the season's festivities. Don't miss it!

  1. The Choir were really ready for Messiah last year and it would have been great. This year we have some new faces and a new orchestra (Orchestra de Camera) to support the performance and while the snow was a massive disappointment last year everyone is looking forward to making up for it this time. We intend to give the City of Wolverhampton a fantastic start to Christmas 2011.

Make sure your Christmas starts off right by being there for what promises to be a truly memorable performance of this wonderful choral work.
